Born in Australia and later raised in Norwich, Jason has been hairdressing for nearly 26 years. He loves to turn out creative, interesting, classic or just plain bonkers haircuts on his wide ranging age of clientele from 12 to 70. Training privately at the world famous Vidal Sassoon Academy, Mayfair, London then qualifying with straight A's, winning the best haircut and student award, he was the only class member to be offered a job with a company with such exacting standards.
Working at the South Molton Street Branch, just off London's fashionable and exclusive Bond Street for a spell he later moved to work at one of Toni&Guys first London salons as they were making their first waves in the hairdressing world.

Kinki Boutique was created by Jason Taylor after spending time as a Stylist and Educator at some of the most renowned and respected companies in the world of hairdressing, such as Vidal Sassoon, Trevor Sorbie and Toni&Guy, London before moving to Stockholm, Sweden where he worked again for Toni&Guy in the Salon and Academy as well as travelling around Scandinavia with the team educating other salon teams and Stylists.
