Laser hair removal is the deliberate removal of unwanted body hair by using an intense beam of light which is absorbed by the hair follicle whilst the surrounding skin tissue remains unaffected.
Lisa Laser Clinics uses a medical grade machine which unlike standard IPL systems, it uses a pulse light system termed APL (accumulative pulsed light) to enable more energy to be delivered to the skin with very little chance of skin damage.
This light targets all activity growing hair (Anogen phase), therefore multiple treatments will be needed as different hair follicles will be in different stages of hair growth at any one time.
