Heads High
In accordance with government guidance, we have been taking special measures to ensure the safety of all staff and visitors of the salon. I love the shapes in haircuts, especially short haircuts. And I love textures and colours. It's amazing to see people satisfied with what I've created for them. And of course, hairdressing is such a social job - listening and talking to my customers, not just small talk, but building a rapport with them so I understand them - that's what I love.

When you really understand someone, you can give them a haircut and colour that will ensure they walk out of the salon with their head held high. Jacob Lindie comes from a long line of hairdressers - his mother, his uncle and his cousins are all hairdressers. His first job at age 13 was working as a 'shampoo boy' in his uncle's salon, and after watching his uncle in action - how he cut hair, how he engaged with his customers, how he looked after them - he knew early on that was exactly what he wanted to do.

Jacob has been working in hair salons in Brixton and South London from the time he secured his first apprenticeship in 2006 straight out of high school, to his path from junior stylist, to then senior stylist, and at the young age of 28, opening his own hair salon in Brixton in 2019.
