We are associated and work with Wella Professional using all their best product range in the Salon, including System Professional, Sebastian, Koleston Perfect, Illumina, Innosense and Colour Touch to achieve your perfect finished look. Our team have continuous hair education with Wella Professional Experts on all new products and new techniques in fashion colouring.
Our salon staff are diverse in their experience and fashion. You choose as we are not an archetypical salon catering just for the young or any other categorisation. We look after every client as individuals and pride ourselves on being able to understand their needs.

Hi I'm Gary Weldon the owner of The Wel-don Hair Salon, before opening my salon in 1988 I trained and then managed one of the Michol M International Salons in Rotherham for 8 years.
During my time there I hosted many Hair Shows with our Wella Partners all over the UK, with the artistic team gaining lots of experience and knowledge.
I also worked in London in Hyper Hyper in South Kensington, working on London Fashion Week and meeting lots of amazing people.
In 1985 I came 3rd place in both the Mens and Womens, National Young Hairstylist Championship and in 1986 I was a finalist, coming 3rd in the prestigious Wella Vogue Award at the Hilton Hotel in London.
During my time there I hosted many Hair Shows with our Wella Partners all over the UK, with the artistic team gaining lots of experience and knowledge.

We are proud to offer the best training available with a view to gaining an early NVQ Level 2 and NVQ Level 3.
